im not all that sure, but what i know is that in the gerber books this issue was not listed and considered to be non existent.

 

since then however, many copies have shown up. by many i mean 17 copies in the cgc census minimum (which isnt that many really, just many compared to none existent)

 

still, a gerber no-show nonetheless...

A "no show" is collector slang for a comic that Ernie Gerber couldn't find an example issue to photograph among the group of collectors from whom he sampled books for his Photo Journals. He considered it scarce but that doesn't mean it didn't exist. The ones that he thought "don't exist" actually are few and far between with some having things like a cover only (Gasoline Alley #3).
