Never fry bacon naked.

I can attest to the truth of this statement. Yeesh!

Also, if you have hot oil in a pan, and you are going to pan fry, for example, a steak, you want to hold the steak at the top between your fingers, lower the bottom to touch the hot oil, then slowly lower the steak into the hot oil AWAY FROM YOU. Good safety tip right there!

"What is that?" - Judge Thatcher

"a Knife" - Dr. Vollin

"What is it doing?" - Judge Thatcher

"Descending" - Dr. Vollin

"15 miiiinnnnnnuuuuttteeesss" - Dr. Vollin

Once upon a midnight dreary

while I pondered weak and weary

over many a quaint and curious volume

of forgotten lore.

While I nodded, nearly napping

suddenly there came a tapping

As if someone gently rapping

rapping at my chamber door.

Tis some visitor I muttered

tapping at my chamber door

Only that, and nothing more.

I always thought it was "Crapping at my chamber door" (shrug)

You Blaspheme!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The thousand injuries of Shiverbones I had borne as I best could; but when he ventured upon insult, I vowed revenge. You, who so well know the nature of my soul, will not suppose, however, that I gave utterance to a threat. At length I would be avenged; this was a point definitely settled--but the very definitiveness with which it was resolved precluded the idea of risk. I must not only punish, but punish with impunity. A wrong is unredressed when retribution overtakes its redresser. It is equally unredressed when the avenger fails to make himself felt as such to him who has done the wrong.

Some late visitor entreating entrance at my chamber door.

Only this and nothing more.

My favorite poem. How can one even fathom the creation of rhymes such as:

`Be that word our sign of parting, bird or fiend!' I shrieked upstarting -

`Get thee back into the tempest and the Night's Plutonian shore!

Leave no black plume as a token of that lie thy soul hath spoken!

Leave my loneliness unbroken! - quit the bust above my door!

Take thy beak from out my heart, and take thy form from off my door!'

Quoth the raven, `Nevermore.'

Come ON - "the Night's Plutonian shore!" "Leave no black plume as a token of that lie thy soul hath spoken!"

Genius absolute.

Genius absolute.

And the raven never flitting

still is sitting. STILL is sitting

on the palled bust of Pallas perched above my chamber door

And my heart from out the shadow that is cast upon the floor

shall be lifted

Nevermore

My favorite line...

"Darkness there and nothing more." or maybe, "And his eyes had all the seeming of a demon that is dreaming."

They wail because they know that I am coming. If you listen closely, you can hear me. Tick, tock. Tick, tock.
