Wow, what a list!

And I've actually owned every one of those except 2, 3, and 71.

By the way, what do folks think of replacing 3, Harvey Hits, with Fantastic Four Annual 3, wedding of Reed and Sue?

Or just Fantastic Four 3, First FF in costume and first FantasticCar

How does Phantom Stranger not trump Doom Patrol?

:sumo:

as an example, MGA 80 in 8.0 is a $350 book according to GPA, while Showcase 80 is a $50 in the same grade. you know, because some people use dollar value as an indicator of worthiness

Heh, it trumps because I like the Doom Patrol lots better than Phantom Stranger, and because a First Appearance trumps a First Silver Age Appearance. Your mileage may vary.

Rawhide KId #38 Kirby Red Raven Cover (shrug) even though it wasn't the android Red Raven?Tales To Astonish #90 1st abomination (debatable whether it holds more significance than war that time forgot series intro, but he's the villain in the next hulk movie. Should pick up heat real soon). [image Not Displayed][image Not Displayed]

I agree completely. I didn't know that MGA 80 was "worth" 7x as much as SC 80, but I'm not surprised since it's about 6 (crucial) years earlier.

All right Peeps, we're down to a half dozen numbers.

Crack open those O'streets and find us a key, major or minor, for 47, 72, 76, 92, 95 and 96.

I'm penciling in Kid Colt 38 and Superboy 98 unless someone can find better ones...

1.) As a Legion fan, I'm fine with Superboy 98 (1st Ultra Boy), but there is also Wonder Woman 98: new art team - Andru & Esposito, and origin retold. I think in some ways it's the first true Silver Age Wonder Woman.

2.) Our Fighting Forces 95: 1st Lt. Rock, the Fighting Devil Dog (yep, he's Sgt. Rock's brother). A minor key, but I think we're really reaching to fill in these last holes.
