Everyone seems to get up in arms when they receive a cracked slab. So, let's see just how bad these cracks really are.

 

This arrived in a box of 27 from CGC. The entire bottom is busted. There was one other that was cracked as well, but nothing like this puppy.

& at least you're cracked case was from cgc & not a crooked ebay seller so you should be alright there! I'll post a picture of the one I got in a bit ... who ships out a cgc in a envelope with no protection anyways?.. mine is cracked at the back cracked all the way from one side, half way up the crack goes up over into the top of the case & around to the side and then back again

Oh, I got cracked slabs from eBay deals. Give me a minute.

I got some shattered slabs back form cgc once.....tough to get reimbursement from the insurance, books came back 8.0 anyway, so they weren't worth much.

This one came in cracked from eBay. It is cracked all the way across the bottom going just under the UPC code. The top half will flip up just like a pez dispenser.

oh yeah how do you guys take such clear pics of you're cgcs?.. I always get light reflections or flashes in them

you can see how the crack starts at one side goes around up to the top through the top and back down to the other side again

When I was submitting like a maniac for the Signature line....I would get at least 1 cracked slabbed per shipment from CGC.

Me neither...I bought a cracked one last weekend at WW TX and immediately took it over to the CGC booth for re-holdering.

it would drive me crazy too if i collected them. i would have to get it re-slabbed or just take it out of the slab all together.
