John Buscema :hi:

You've done a great job after taking over the thread Watcher.

Thanks, bro (thumbs u

not to derail, but who started this shindig?

What is your definition of started. Angelo has been involved with Silver Age from the get go.

then where did the "after taking over" come from?

Cap did one or two rounds of GA artists and then Ang took over.

Wood was instrumental in the GA, DD #1 was the only notable SA book he did (IMO)...judging from the polls so far, it seems a lot of others are in agreement

Well, this is the "Who drew your favorite Silver Age Marvel superhero?" poll, right? Daredevil must be someone's favorite!

More seriously, I am now surprised that Colan got the boot before Heath and Kubert. Kubert because people are mixing him up with one of his X-Men-drawing sons? Heath because people are afraid that Paratrooper will kick their patoots if they vote him down?

I had to vote down Wood. One key Silver Age Marvel superhero book just isn't competitive.

[PS: Duh! I should have written "a short run on a second-tier Silver Age Marvel superhero". Of course I realize that Wood introduced the red suit with heavy black "Wood shading", not the red, yellow and black circus suit. Don't get me wrong -- I really like Wood (check current avatar).]
