Ok people, it's game time!  Amazing Spider-Man #129, "the" jewel in the ASM bronze age run!  A bright, yellow cover with the fist appearance in a comic of one of them most popular Marvel characters ever - THE PUNISHER!  What an iconic cover too!  Who is this guy with a skull on his chest and Spidey in his sights?  And who is this Jackal mentioned on the cover? 

Great book, now bring 'em out!

Going through the collection and scanning tonight I also found this one, and I have no idea where it came from but I guess now's the time / place to post it.

I got this as a kid. I believe in a trade. Although I have many Silver Age and Bronze Age keys in mid to low-condition, I'm happy with all of them. This might be the only book that I would really like to upgrade. Alas, even nice presenting mid-grade copies are pretty much out of my price range nowadays. 

It has tears, stains, creasing, tape, a detached cover, and interior clipping but it's been an important book for me for most of my hobby. 

 

And hey, stick it in Mylite and step back a couple of feet and it looks great on display.

There isn't one issue of Spider Man that Ive sold, that I don't regret. Current and previous 2 owned slabs.

That they went with the simplified version of the webbing in the logo annoys me.

Not anywhere near as much as adding the UPC box at issue 157, but it just does.

All of these covers would have looked SO much better with the other version.

Copy I bought off the rack, both before and after encapsulation.  Yeah, I should have taken it out of the bag before scanning it.
