Court Copy Action #2

48 posts in this topic

If it goes for 5 figures I might throw in some bids, hell..might even sell some books if it goes over 6.

I think you'll be safe at that estimate. Don't see this being a six-figure book.

I don't think it will even come close to 6 figures.

I can’t imagine it going for more than 30-35K. I could be wrong though!

Any thoughts on what you gentlemen would pay?

I will make it no secret, this is one of 2 books I will be pursuing...however, no way do I consider it to be worth anywhere near unrestored price (and unrestored 7.0 would push $50K+?)...sure, there is cool provenance of the court copy, but it is restored, and action 2's are available from time to time in the market...

Man, I would give my left nut for that book.

I would give my right one!

Maybe we should go partners on the book hm

Sure, as long as I can keep custody! Seriously, that one almost makes me want to sell my entire collection just so I can afford that.

Go ahead :baiting:

Didn't the #1 bring around that at Mastronet in 2003? I remember being surprised by how little it sold for.

I am sure Heritage will welcome "Deez Nutz" as long as it hammers a good price!

Paratrooper, go for it. I know you have been wanting an Action 2!

BTW, are these court copies in reference to the law suit between DC and Siegal/Shuster? I know there is an Action 7 stamped as a court copy as well.

Pretty sure it's from the DC/Fawcett law suit (Superman/Cap Marvel).
