Should this kind of ebay auction be allowed?

Ok.

I just spotted a couple of this guy's auctions, and was interested in The Phantom Stranger 1 and 2.

He describes them as CGC 6.0.

I notice there's no pics of the slabs...so I shoots him an email.

This is the exact content;

Hi.

Just wondered where is the actual pic of the comic in the slab with CGc label?

Kind Regards

Tom.

PS.

This also applies to PS#1.

Good enough the guy replys very promptly;

Here is the reply exactly as received;

Hello,

These are the actual pics... These comics are not CGC graded.

Thanks,

Dale

Am I missing something here or what?

This is not anything that hasn't been done before.

The seller is simply qualifying how the letters "FN" equate to CGC's 6.0. It sort of skirts the law.

If you feel compelled or outraged enough, at the bottom of the listing is a "Report this" link. Fill out the options for 'keyword spamming' and let eBay know.
