Some light tanning (?) near edges on inside pages.

I'll guess 6.5. Nice-looking book despite the spine wear. I don't think the dirt would have any effect on grade at this level., tho it might keep the book from going higher.

I'm guessing the spine ticks don't look as bad in person as on the scan, but they seem quite long for typical spine wear. Hard to put any grade with a "VF" on it in this book so I'd say 6.5, too.

Good observation on the spine creases! They are not as bad as the scan shows, in fact they are very light and are not really visible on first glance. But there are about 3 or 4 small spine stress marks that slightly break color.

I'd go with 6.5 as well. As far as the soiling, it doesn't appear that it affects the grade at this level,judging by one of the books in the grading contest.

 

That's a pretty cool cover that I've never seen before.
