OT: Wondercon 2008 Forum Dinner

Thanks for taking the initiative to organize this, James. You can count me in. I've been there for large group dinners before and it worked out well. The food for groups is fine and the upstairs area is nicely segregated from the rest of the restaurant. I'd be in favor of the unlimited beer and wine option too.

Please post here by Friday, January 18th at 9PM EST if you are going to go to the forum dinner. I am going to call Gordon Biersch and find out how many people we need to have in order to book the upstairs room. I will, of course, compensate for a few people who may be late additions. Thanks

Anyone ever been to Tecate (in Mexico)?

 

I spent a week there one day . . . ba-dum-bump!

 

Actually, though, I did take a day-trip there once. Really neat little border town, where half of the locals probably work at the brewery. Had a blast.
