High Grade Avengers Collectors Assemble Thursday on Pedigree Comics!

We just wanted to let you forumites know that a high grade run of Silver and Bronze Age Avengers will be listed on the Pedigree Comics Web site (www.PedigreeComics.com) today, Thursday, January 31st. As we reported in the January, 11, 2008 edition of Scoop online magazine, Avengers is by far the hottest title on the Marvel (or any) planet right now, with record sales being achieved on an almost daily basis. This new listing consists of 23 high grade (9.0 or better) issues in the 40's through #100, plus # 6 and #17. Most of the books are in 9.4 (13) with a few (4) choice 9.6's thrown in. Highlights include #6 in 9.4; #17 in 9.2; #47 in 9.4; #50 in 9.4; #54 in 9.6; #55 in 9.4; #57 in 9.6; #63 in 9.4; #65 in 9.4; #87 in 9.4; #93 in 9.6 and #94 in 9.6. Most of the books have off-white to white or better page quality with 11 in bone white.

 

All 25 issues will be uploaded to the front of the New Arrivals section of the Web site on Thursday afternoon. I actually agree with that statement. Perhaps Iron Man may briefly surpass it due to movie hype but by and large, thru the past couple years, excluding Spider-Keys, Avengers has ruled the roost.
