I don't think I've seen Challengers of the Unknown 22 from Oct-Nov 1961 yet.

Funny series -- sort of superhero, sort of adventure, nobody's favorite.

Hey Burnt Boy, That's a sweet SSWS 93. One of three books that broke up the 44 issue run of dino covers. # 126 was a Gorilla cover. I posted it at the new "War That Time Forgot" thread a few minutes back.

I love what they were doing on the Superman titles in this time period -- this little riff on the earlier Adv 247 theme is excellent example!

A tremendous Schaffenberger cover, worthy of close examination.

Superman and Lois look like a newly-wed couple, while Lois emits such feelings of jealousy and regret!

This very tough black-covered book introduces Dev-Em, the vKnave of Krypton.

My favorite Dev-Em story is in Superboy #128, itself a hugely tough book to find in nice shape.
