2008 Economic Tax Return? 600 or 1200

To add more confusion to the tax rebates as I understand it, there is supposed to be a extra credit of $300 more to the credit per child. I wonder why it doesn't say so on the IRS site.

Look, tax refunds have always been for people who withhold too much from their paycheck anyways. It's like giving the government a free loan of your money.

 

Worst case, the gubmint is doing nothing more than giving you a portion of your money back to invest it as you see fit, thus allowing you to either make a % on your own money, or pisss it away on material goods. Personally, I'm going for the former, but it's up to you to do with it as you wish
