thirdgreenham
Again, could have gone either way. Super, amazing copy. I was *really* hoping for a 9.6, which would have made it highest grade, 1 of 1, but I'm cool with highest grade, 1 of 2. Ummm....I suppose this " " would be appropriate. dicjones
I got a DD #5 restored back today. It is a 9.6...or at least it was. This is what they did when they slabbed it. http://i45.photobucket.com/albums/f54/dicjones/DD5BentCornerFront.jpg[/img]]DD #5 Front http://i45.photobucket.com/albums/f54/dicjones/DD5BentCornerBack.jpg[/img]]DD #5 Back I didn't get it until after hours so I'll have to wait until tomorrow to find out what can be done. Sigh.

Sal
That'll press out.
dicjones
That'll press out. Yeah, I'm hoping. It was already pressed, so to do it again won't hurt anything. I was surprised it was a 9.6, I thought the best it was going to do was a 9.4...so I'm nervous to put it back through the press again and then have it graded all over again. It will be interesting to see what they say.

I'm not sure what CGC does in cases of SCS when on the way back from CGC, should be interesting to see what their response is.

LordRahl
SCS? Shaken comic syndrome. Damage like that happens during shipping when the book is loose in the well and slams into the side of the well.

Especially when the book has a bit of edge overhang as it appears this one does.
