Did anyone read the new Thor 1 shot ?

I picked this up to wednesday, just read it last night. And was blown away at the thunder gods actions. The book is backstories from long before Thor traveled to earth, and before Odin lost an eye. But damn Thor used to be one bad dude. It really dissapoints me he doesnt still have some of this in his new series. Then again the Marvel U's numbers would dwindle.

I agree. I told a friend of mine to pick it up, and he flipped. He said it was awesome and now he has to wait for reign of blood.

I really enjoyed it myself. Interesting take on Thor. There is so much opportunity with this character, he's lived for thousands of years and traveled the universe, what more can you ask? Go Thor!

Still have not received mine yet. I get my orders through the mail once a month, after reading this thread I can't wait to get it.
