How do you tell the differences between TMNT 1st, 2nd, 3rd, etc, printings?

The OS Guide is not particularly helpful in allowing me to determine whether I have a first, second or even third printing of a particular issue of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

Can someone please give me more detailed guidance! :applause::hi:

First print has an ad for Gobbledygook on the last page.

The other printings have it listed on the bottom of the first page.

That's just for #1.

I believe the others have the printing number on the bottom of the first page on all printings, but I could be wrong.

I have the first printings of #2, #3 and #4! Sweet!

I bought these when they were issued, probably when I was selling at a show on Long Island in 1984-1985 and haven't looked at, nor really cared about, them since.

How do current sales prices compare to Guide "values"?

They're worthless you should just give them to me.

As you can see, the answer to you question is, as usual: ask the boards.

That's why I didn't waste my time searching for the answer online even though it likely would have been found without too much effort. ;) (thumbs u

I'd check GPA...it should have all the relevant info.

There is also a "counterfeit" #1 1st printing that exists...but the counterfeiters used a 3rd printing for the inside front cover, which they whited out "3rd printing". The way you can tell is, the third printing had a different address on the bottom of the inside cover than the 1st printing.
