I'm amazed to see the tanking in the B&W 1:200 variant. I think all variants are pointless, but this was a strong $250 book prior to SDCC and it's just nosedived.

I'm pretty sure cause at first, hearing 1:200 was pretty appetizing, but after they announced there were gonna be 300,000 copies of #100 printed, that pretty much let everyone know instead of there being ~200-250 of these, there's 1500 of these being printed. Yea, that's not $250 worthy.

I never like to see anything "tank". I wish that people didn't go so bat sheit crazy for it in the first place. It seemed that it was going to be a money grab from the start, and the very soft value of the books is a result of it. I just feel bad for the young collectors out there that were really excited about the book, and put a ton of money behind it, and now don't have much to show for it. I have a feeling that the "100 variant cover madness" will sour more people on collecting comics than will bring more in....

So no one mentions that new webisodes went live today?

You just did...

You guys are slipping.

How do I go about watching these in the U.K they won't let me view them on the AMC site

I'm going to record them on my hd, may be able to get them over to the uk.

Not promising anything...

Don't they usually go up on You-Tube as well?

Thats where I watched the last bunch.

Oh there is a full 14 minute deleted start to Season2 #1 on various fan sites.

Watch that and you will see that this series was VERY underestimated by AMC after Season 1.

It certainly looks as if the Prison/Woodbery was going to start in Season 2 but they extended the "sofia/Hershel" BS to re-write the Prison arc as 2 full seasons on the back of the end of season 1's superb viewing figures.

They implied (to me anyway) that the Vatos had been killed by a large heavily armed group - the only ones due in play next were the Governor and his crew - but after the show went worldwide and huge,it looks like AMC went WOW - lets extend this season 2 and do woodbury/prison properly over 2 seasons.

Save some of our arses regarding comic prices that did!

And I have now watched them on you - tube.

WTF were AMC thinking???

Terrible in every way, acting, -script and general content were awful!!

"We got porn and grannies ashes"

Jesus, maybe this is the beginning of the end.

Kirkman and AMC need to stop this shizenhousen stuff NOW and stick to just making the show and writing the book.

No more variants. No more webisodes.

The first one was maybe 6.5/10

This is a 1/10

Frucking awful.

+1

reminds me of Image and variants of the early 90s all over again.

I just hope greed doesn`t kill the goose that lays the golden egg.

It took about 9 years for the Walking Dead to get to where it`s at. That was done by great stories that were read by loyal readers. It wasn`t done because of a bunch of variant covers just got printed to sell for a flip.

the comic I think will be ok for a while - though the art is up and down lately, the story is still pretty good :)

edit: also, I don't collect anything other than OA, so its fun to watch you book collectors squirm over every new variant -evil laugh-

further edit:

TM's sketch auctions are live on ebay - two running at once..

further edit:

anyone know if you win both auctions, can you have TM do a double size sketch?

TY in advance..
