And for interests sake here are the most recent sales of #1 on GPA

 

9.9 - $9800

 

9.8 - $2300

 

9.6 - $1360

 

9.4 - $1226

 

9.2 - $975

 

9.0 - $889

 

8.5 - $620

Guess I can just cancel my subscription.

 

So you changed your mind about prices softening then?

 

In the short term I was happy with the $1800 price.

But now its broken 2K - I think the inevitable softening after the TV show winds up may be a lot gentler than I originally thought.

If there are 1500 people who paid say, $3000 then they will probably keep, rather than let them go for $1500.

That will provide a buffer probably to a glut of copies arriving on ebay post the TV show.

Some people were suggesting as low as $500 on here recently.

That now, will never happen.

The Walking Dead has assumed "Star Trek" popular culture status.

I was thinking, and saying, the same thing maybe 6 months ago?

 

But even as good as the new season has been, it hasn't reached that kind of status yet. It's certainly heading in that direction though.

K, Didn't Hurd say they planned 7 seasons and a finish up Movie?

So that would be around 2018 - 2019.

Kirkman has said 300 issues in a letters column a few times so thats roughly 2030.

Some of us might be 6 ft under by the time this ever finishes!

Any suggestions on the best way and or place to sell my Walking Dead run?

The boards would be lowest fees associated with selling. I sold an item on eBay recently for $449 bin and got like a $50+ invoice so I'm pretty anti eBay at the moment. Anything high dollar could be tricky on the boards unless a junkie like Doug Hur....uh oh er uhm yeah not the boards for premium stuff and max price everyone here wants a "deal"
