He did a few "classics" on the SWAMP THING series. 22 and 27 are my favorites.

And what...may I ask...is wrong with #29? :sumo:

Chris,

#29 is a beaut as well and I surely wouldn't turn it down. (thumbs u

From you display on CAF is th epiece on the right the promo image? And your original B/W?

I thought all of his covers were painted, like the one currently on eBay

The final Swamp Thing cover was ink wash....most of the others were painted.

I could not find a nice online image of the #29 book, and I have not been able to get a copy locally...it seems orders were low.

I thought they were all painted too. When he sold it to me in NYC I had to do a triple take and ask him if that was it...and he confirmed it.

SWP29.gif

Thanks Bud....

I will mess with that in Photoshop to try and eliminate that web addy..

Eventually I will grab a nice copy of the book to scan and make an overlay.

Did anyone notice what the shipping charges are for these pieces ?! :o

I mean, $100.00 for the Arkham piece ! - C'mon !!!

I think he's got it on an automatically calculating scale...he didn't put $100 for shipping. It keeps changing as the bids go up. Most likely it is mis calculating..

Oh wait....he just put this into his auction description.

NOTE: FREE SHIPPING!!! IGNORE ANY SHIPPING COSTS THAT MAY SHOW UP. ITEM WILL SHIP BY FEDEX AND SELLER WILL PAY ALL SHIPPING COSTS!!!

That makes it easier too..lol

Wow, those covers went crazy! :o I'm guessing one poor slob was the looser on both pieces as they're so close in the ending amounts. doh!

I was right there on the Swamp Thing cover....sadly it was not meant to be. :sorry:
