Think this Hulk Annual #1 PGX 9.8 will get a CGC 9.8?

54 posts in this topic

The 9.8 I posted wasn't the one 9.6 with the tears...unless it was resubmitted twice with the old label.

My question pertained to how many Northland copies of the issue are out there...

There are clearly two...are there other Northland dups out there?

Sorry people.

The CGC 9.6 with the tears did not get a 9.8 bump. (tsk)

It's a nice story but it just aint true.

Russ...

Then that brings me up to my original question. How many copies of the Northland Hulk #1

Annuals are out there? We have a tread that documents a Northland Hulk Annual #1 being upgraded to

from CGC 9.6 to CGC 9.8.

There is a CGC 9.6 White pages copy with tears.

& There is the 9.6 OW/W page copy that Matt Nelson purchased & resubbed. It came back as an OW pages CGC 9.8 but the Northland designation was accidently left of the slab.

The 9.8 copy sold to Bill hughes who then had the book re-certified with the Notation back in place.

Unfortunately it is my opinion that the Northland designation may have been purposely left off the slab so that it would be harder to detect the grade bump.

But then this seems strange that someone heavily involved in a book about Pedigrees would do such a thing.

Thats how I recall it anyway. (however my memory can be a bit fuzzy from time to time)

Russ... hm

I see we both asked the same question. Would be interesting to get the numbers.

Geez Harvey Dude.

I'm really working for the money tonight.

The CGC 9.6 OW/W Pre grade bump number was 0039317008

I will see if i can find the number for it after the grade bump but without the Northland notation

The CGC 9.8 OW After grade bump is 0749450010

The CGC 9.6 WP with the tears is 0023317003 (Its a bit blury)

Hope this helps.

Good artist ! Really nice line work

Should have put it on your neck...it would seem that the Hulk is holding your head up.
