Hi folks,

 

I am selling the following books. Offers are also welcomed. Returns are accepted as long as you notify me within 7-days. Payment can be by Paypal, check or money order, and Priority Mail shipping/insurance is $7.00. I will gladly combine on shipping. Also, If I know you I can send the book on approval. None of these books has any restoration unless noted in the description.

Keen Detective Funnies 10. This copy lies flat, with bright cover inks and cream to off-white interior paper. There is a small, non-color breaking crease at the bottom of the right side cover, and a couple of tiny chips out at the spine. The major problem with this copy is that there are two long, clean splits in the cover, extending towards the middle of the spine. As a result, only about 2" of the cover is attached to the book. Grade is Good due to this, but if not, it would be considerably higher. My asking price is $150.00.

 

Prize Comics 21. I grade this copy Good. It has defects that are plainly visible in the scans. It also has cream colored interior paper. No restoration or color touch either. Asking $70.00 on this book.

 

Prize Comics 23. This copy is a bit better than the 23. I grade it a G/VG. It has a cool war cover, cream colored interior paper and partially detached bottom staple. This copy could use a good cleaning and it woul look much nicer. Also asking $70.00.

 

Superman 100. I grade this book a NM. Just kidding. It grades about fair, as it is complete, however it is obviously only a reader. It was wet at one time, which preserved the interior paper in a very supple off-white state. Guide good is $221.00, so I am asking $80.00.

 

Journey Into Unknown Worlds 36 (#1). Another reader. This copy has tape on the spine and two interior pages are 1/2 gone. Still, it is a great read on the cheap. Asking $90.00 (Guide good is $255.00).

 

Captain Marvel Adventures 54. This issue Grades VG/F. It has bright cover inks, off-white interior paper, and a spine that has only minor wear. The cover is securely attached, and there are no creases. Asking $75.00.

 

Red Ryder Comics 36. VG. Book has cream to off-white interior paper, bright cover inks and a nice overall appearance. There is a non-color breaking crease running down the right side of the book for approx. 5", and some general wear to the spine. The cover is firmly attached. Asking $20.00.

 

Red Ryder Comics 37. This copy is a bit nicer than the 36. I grade it a VG+. No creasing, light wear to the spine. Asking $30.00.

 

Red Ryder Comics 38. Also a VG+. Same as the 37. Asking $25.00.

 

Western Comics 2. This copy grades a 6.0. It has off-white interior paper, and bright cover inks. Minor wear at the spine keeps it out of higher grade. Asking $95.00.

 

Western Comics 5. Grade is 4.0. Similar to the 2, this copy off-white paper and bright cover inks. There is slight rust at the staples, and light wear. Asking $50.00.

 

Amazing Spider-Man 42. A clean, flat copy with off-white paper, and no creasing. There is light wear at the spine, and a small tear at the upper staple. Grades 5.0. Asking $30.00.

Did you win that lot of Actions on ebay? (#24 #29 #32 + Blonde and Famous Funnies). That was a nice lot. If I would have won, I was going to pick them up in person. My wallet is actually glad I didn't win. :grin:
