Popular Post Silveriderpanther
So many great, creative artists on the boards! I really love this thread, it may just prompt me to create faster than my current rate of growing grass. Here are a couple of comic related pieces I've recently done, I hope y'all like! My friend/neighbor had a birthday party and was celebrating buying his first house with his fiance. Since I knew he was into Sandman, I did this mixed media piece for their new house on 11x17 comic art board. (Should have scanned it before I handed it over) My local movie house in Portland was hosting Linda Blair for a special showing of the Exorcist. I decided to create a EC homage cover based on the film using the iconic movie poster for inspiration. She signed it "Sweet dreams" and gave me a hug after the Q&A. I was very pleased with how it came out. ADAMANTIUM, bronze_rules, Get Marwood & I and 2 others

Popular Post Alf Pogs
My first time in this thread and went back about 30 pages so far. Great stuff everybody! I have been face mapping now and liking the results where I used to just look at something and draw it. Here some stuff from a few months back: 2 Princess Leias (one DeCarlo style) and an Invisible Woman from How to Draw Marvel.... that looks more like a Tim Sale Lois Lane. ADAMANTIUM, 1950's war comics, Get Marwood & I and 3 others
Popular Post Senormac
Some artwork and creativity from a couple years ago. The first 6 issues of the post EMP Portland Oregon saga !! Read it, if you can find it !! The second 6 issue story arc has been making an appearance in my thoughts lately. Portland is a hotbed of turmoil these days bronze_rules, Get Marwood & I, 1950's war comics and 2 others

The first one lips could be done a bit better. Straight line doesnt give any body/volume.

Yeah she was a 2 min scribble just getting used to the new pens. Still looking for a real nice blue pencil. My goal is to draw a whole page with no photo references at all and make each person look unique and the same from panel to panel. So many comics these days all the faces look the same and you can't tell what is going on. 1950's war comics and kav
