I just picked up 2 HP Scanjet 8250's yesterday. I will try them out as soon as I get the power cords. They come from a business liquidation.

As well as the large lateral file cabinets, the lazer printers, etc....

If you are ever in the Bay area, you can come by and read it! (provided you wash your hands first) :baiting:

Thanks Everyone. I still get a thrill taking it out and thumbing through it.

Good for you. These books can be great as artifact or as examples of pop art but there's probably nothing that beats the ability to sit down and read an old comic book and leave the present world behind: to be twelve in 1940.

That is a beautiful copy and a really good scan. If you decide to give it away or trade for my old car, then give me a call.

I have found that the software that came with my HP scanner, such as Photoshop, has been very useful. My scanner is so old that it still uses a parallel port instead of USB. I should probably switch since Windows XP doesn't like it

bb.

I don't think you were offering for just anyone to come by and read your comic but that's alright. I can stay home and read my reprint that came in a box with this nifty doll...er...action figure.

That is a great scan. What kind of scanner did you purchase?

I use an old Scan Jet 5300C scanner for scanning comics, magazines, Sunday comic pages, books, rings, badges, dolls and spinach cans.

Oops! You probably weren't asking me.
