OA mylars: Where to buy 11.75 x 17.5 sleeves?

Hi all --

 

I just ran out of my wonderful 11.75" x 17.5" mylar sleeves for original art. Does anyone know a good place to buy some? I checked with comicbags.com (?) and Bill Cole Enterprises, but neither seem to have this particular size.

 

I DO have a bunch of 8 x 17 mylar sleeves that I can't use, however, so if anyone wants to buy a stack on the cheap let me know. Other advice is appreciated as I mortgage my retirement, family standard of living, health insurance, long- and short-term stability, and first child for yet another piece of precious art...*

I always buy from e-gerber, you can't beat their price, although, I guess their size is 11.25 x 17.5, but they have larger ones if you really need 11.75.

I've been really happy with the 2mil 11.5 x 17.5 w/flap mylars from Bags Unlimited. They're a nice quality and pretty cheap too.

If you need the extra quarter of an inch, it looks like they have some 4mil 12.5 x 18.5 mylars for a bit more money.

Thanks for the heads up. I actually needed 11.5 x 17.5 mylars with no flaps, exactly what Bags Unlimited had for less than $2 a pop including shipping. I made my order and am now in good shape. Thanks a lot~

You should note that modern era DC art board has crept up to 11.5 inches wide so there will be instances where you need a slightly larger mylar sleeve.

Yep. For the DC, Bill Cole has 11-3/4 x 18. But, price is way more than everyone else charges for mylar.

Thanks for the further info. I only collect Marvel superhero art from the 1970's, so this size is perfect for me. And I agree that Bill Cole's stuff is priced too high.
