Nitpick; A Mid1985 Independant is 100% Copper as is the entire Crossfire series

If I put it somewhere else I’m sure someone would have called it Bronze. Lol There’s never been an exact date or issue with Bronze usually listed as through 1985 and Modern or Copper starting in 1986. Having actually lived through that period as a fan the change in comics was easily seen when DC destroyed their universe in Crisis (end of Bronze) and launched first Dark Knight then watchmen a few months later in 1986. Those series impacted the industry writing with the darker tone. As a reader things changed after those books.

Anyone who would have foolished complained about a Summer 1985 book not being Copper would have been totally wrong. I've never seen any one here question the copperness of any post 1982 books.

While there is no clear delineation a mid 1985 independant with Dave Stevens cover is the pretty much the very definition of Copper.

Good Folks, what do you think??

I'd call it copper but the lines are pretty blurry on Bronze these days so I'm in the not nit picky I guess it could be borderline to someone side. (shrug):bigsmile:
