A special upgrade for me. I own a few of these raw and at least 1 slab (9.2 ow/w) so got this CGC 9.4 white pages today from boardie A-1 comics. This was one of the earliest comics I purchased off the stands when I started collecting in 1973 and like a lot of the horror titles one of the most memorable covers for me. For some reason it’s no longer credited as a Rich Buckler/ Tom Palmer piece but just Tom Palmer. Even on Tom Palmers site he credits both artists not just him so…who knows. I think it’s a nice piece either way. It’s one of the horror books too which had mostly new stories and just one 1950’s Atlas reprint in it.

Seems my older brother picked that one off the stands too back in the day.

Something different in an auction win tonight. Not a Bronze Age comic but definitely Bronze Age related. These came out in 1971 along with much of the other cool Marvel merchandise like Third Eye posters, puzzles and postcards. These were cool image iron ons by Roach. They sold individually but this is a sealed pack of 25. Here’s one of the ads for them from 1973 in Marvel comics. If you were buying comics off the stands back then you should remember this ad. I love the top monster and werewolf art in the ad…:)

That was my first Ghost Rider I picked up off the newsstand back in 1973. I have a special affection for Marvel Spotlight #10,11 and Ghost Rider #1,2. I really feel they had a nice run of covers over those 4 consecutive issues of the character.

Those are all good choices and I really like spotlight #9 too. As a kid, I really liked Ghost Rider # 1,2 and especially Ghost Rider #9  as that issue was crazy to me back then. :luhv:
