I've said it once, and I'll say it again..the cover art for Sub-mariner-1968-run are incredible..Everett, Colan, Buscema, and Severin...wow..quintessential comic book art!!!!

Nice Stars, I picked up a 9.6wp not too long ago.

 

Lots of Iron Fist 14's out there but the 9.6's are getting quite pricey.

Nah, I didn't even know you can call in for that info? I'm just getting into this and still learning the 'in's and 'out's. I'm trying to get a decent copy of Detective 395 next.

Yes, you can call CGC and ask for graders notes. They will tell you what defects the books have and what each of the 3 graders graded the book at.

 

The spine looks very nice on that 245. It's a very tough book to find in high grade especially in 9.2 and above.

Yep. And I knew I was overpaying (wife is gonna kill me), but I really want them. These were pretty much my very first books that my dad got me when I was a kid.

 

I kinda figured most books with black or darkly colored covers would be hard to find in top grades. Any defect shows up like a beacon. This is the same problem with PSA graded baseball or football cards, of which I have more experience with.

Nice Conan too, thats the one i need to complete my graded 1 to 5 set.
