Was there ever any resolution on whether the $5.99 price was a Canadian variant of the New Mutants graphic novel #4?

$5.95 is the Canadian Price, cgc notes it as "5.95 Cover Price", but still, very nice book considering the difference in the census numbers (thumbsu

I have a CGC 7.5 not too spectacular (blue label), I think this is only expensive in high grade, so I bought this one to have signed by Len Wein and Gerry Conway. There is plenty I'd want signed be Len Wein, but this'll do for now :) Hoping for at least VF maybe with a +
