Okay then, back to some superheros.

 

Adventure #266 (1959)

 

Origin & 1st appearance Aquagirl (try-out, not same as later character)

 

Copy presents beautifully though slight fc shadowing right side, slight interior cover shadow, bc shadow left side and bottom, 1/4 bc tear, couple small bc defects, pencil fc distributor mark, 6.5

Abbott & Costello #20 (1953)

 

I used to love watching their show Sunday mornings on WPIX-NY at 11 am!!!!

 

Cover detached at upper staple, piece missing lower fc, bc shadowing, slight interior cover shadowing, cream to O/W pages, nice cover colors, 3.0

I rarely see Dell giants this nice. I just don't collect them.

There are MANY really cool Dell Giants in this collection. Here are just a couple.

 

Donald Duck in Disneyland (1955)

 

1st Disneyland Dell Giant!!!

 

Strong copy! 1/4" upper spine split, some light lower spine staining, slight interior shadowing, 7.0

Are there other Dell books? I am particularly looking for early Four Color Duck and Mouse books.

 

There are TONS of Dell books. How early? This collection is primarily early 1950s to early 1960s.

 

I also still have many FC Duck and Mouse books from the Moose collection that ranges from mid 1940s to late 1950s.
