That thing must be pretty much perfect to pull off a 9.8 with that miswrap. I know it usually doesn't hurt grades much, but at some point I assumed it had to play a role. They printed so many of them, having only two in that high if a grade says a lot for how challenging it must be.

It's not a defect that excludes a 9.8 grade.

 

i.e. buy the book, not the label....
