I'll be on a hunt soon for a book to join. What have recent sales of 8.5 and above going for now? I don't have GPA for latest results. I usually collect GA and SA, hitting the times now when I grew up.

A 9.6 White just sold for $6,911 on Comiclink Jan auction.

 

Seller netted $6220.

I wanted to upgrade but I was hoping it would be a little more reasonable. Maybe $3 or 4K. $6K is a bit to high for my blood. I guess that makes my 8.5 all the more desired though.

It's funny but there are loads of people who will pay $4k for this book, but very few who'll pay $5k and over.

 

I guess that's why the spreads have diminished hugely between the sub-9.4 copies and and the 9.4's. Every grade has shot up in value whilst the 9.4's are pretty much where they've always been.
