I love most sports, but tonight was friggin awesome.

that was an awful penalty by Sturridge, as long as the keeper went the right way then he should save that

he'll blame illness, if thats the case he shouldn't have made himself available

 

he should really blame the fact that he's a bit part player at Chelsea and has spent all season on the wing, he needs to get out of that club or his career will suffer, he'd do well at Spurs i think hm

Who cares about Olympic football anyway? We never have before.

 

It gave a bunch of second-string players (and first string Welsh ones) a chance to play in an international competition. A quarter-final against South Korea should've been a walkover for Pearce's men, which would've meant the team would've been in line for a medal and a chance to put behind some of the misery of previous tournaments.

 

But it was not to be. :(
