Don't bid like you're going to get the book in the grade listed.

Also, their determination of PQ appears to be optimistic. Just check some of the white cover issues.

No, they are no board members.

Greggy's opinion is all I would need to make a determination. (thumbs u

Thanks for the info guys. I was going over most of their books that are listed on e-bay this morning. The grading on the 9.0 -9.6 books just looked a little soft, but thats just my opinion. Thanks again. (thumbs u

Didn't greggy get banned from bidding his stuff?

I agree with the assessment, though.

They are local to me. I believe they are a 2 man operation, and one owns my local LCS.
It's a lady I usually talk with on the phone. And it's always Tuesday when I call because they don't seem to answer their phone on Monday. And I'm not usually wanting to leave a message.

But don't bid on the midgrade stuff. :sumo: Leave all of that to me. :insane:

Grading is soft but they're okay to deal with.

Gotta disagree with Greggy on the PQ issue though. I bought a few books from them described as white and the pages were bone white. Who knows, they might be inconsistent.

I've only bought two books from them (MTIO Annual 1 and Marvel Spotlight 32).

Both were overgraded by about 0.5, but I took that into account with my bid, so I was happy enough.

That matches my experience. (thumbs u

I buy books every week from their eBay auctions, and find their grading no more wonky than certain board members around here. They offer large scans that reveal almost all flaws. Look at the scans and bid accordingly.
