For those of you using a camera to take pictures. I'm using a Nikon D-50 which is digital SLR for comparison.

 

Take a midsize lamp and take the hood off...use this to backlight the photo: which means the comic/camera/backlight in line and take the picture at an angel. Gives a very very nice feel for the actual look of the comic.
