A little late to the party, but I'm definitely an Adams fan, and collector.

 

I'm a Marvel Zombie, but, for some reason, I really only buy his DC stuff. I will buy interiors if he did the cover, but not if someone else did the cover. Most of the interior stuff is reprinted elsewhere, so I can still read it. I just love the covers in the shiney CGC slab. Mmmmm...white pages, sharp corners.

Okay, so I had a little free time today and I was curious about this so I went through my electronic OS Guide searching on "Adams" and recorded every book that Guides for over $100. Due to the monotony of the process I may have missed a book or two. If anyone sees anything that's missing let me know and I'll fix it right away. Next up? GPA sales!

I don't think it is,..I think they mixed it up with Heart throbs #120 which is definitely Adams

The GCD has Jim Pikes listed for pencils on Secret Hearts #120 with color and inks unknown

I think that there is an extra 0 on the 1, as I believe he did the cover to issue # 1 of TOD.

 

The problem with the list is that personally I feel that the value of some of these books don't really have anything to do with his art, especially some of the covers only.

Do you really think the value of some of the books listed such as MF1, TOD 1, and MS 2 with his covers only are that high due to his cover art? It's not like a Batman 227 in which is hot solely for the cover! tongue.gif

GPA sales are going to be a real toughy on some of these.

What did Adams do on Tomb of Drac 10 and the Vamp Annual?

 

Typos, there are a few of them. Vampi Annual 1 contains Adams reprints.
