Hi there,

I'm contacting you regarding my Comics Collection I had advertised for sale on craigslist. The company that placed the ad for me, advertised my comics nationwide so I guess that you've come across upon the ad in the local classifieds.

First of all I have to tell you that I don't know much about comics and this was inherited from my grandfather who died 6 months ago and he was a collector.I am currently stationed in Kabul,Afganistan in Marine Corps and the comics are here with me.Two months ago before I got deployed here my husband and I got divorced and he won the house by court's decision so now I am homless and I have to sell this collection.I have asked over the internet and I have received the answer that I can sell them for the price of $5000 but since for me they don't mean much and the times we are living are hard and it's hard to sell anything these days so I think we can gain both of us since u are a collector and I need the money so I want to get $3750

For security reasons I want to make this deal through eBay (www.ebay.com) because this way both seller and buyer are protected I have made my deals only through them and I think this is the best way to close this deal.

Yeah, that didn't make much sense to me...AF #15 in 9.0 condition? Seriously...if you know how to rate it on the grading scale you mean to tell me you don't know much that book would be worth? People are funny...

Totally email her back, but instead of showing interest in the books, show interest in her. Tell her how sad you are and that you'd like to take her out and show her a good time.
