Bosco685
Nice example of a great book. Unless there is something wrong with the back cover, it looks like a 9.2-9.4 from the front scan. congrats!

thebends1996-migration
I think I need to block ebay from my computer for awhile. I couldn't resist and pulled the trigger on a Caliber 1. I swear I'm going to pick up all the books I wanted as a kid/teenager haha.
Bosco685
Hey, that's the fun of later on looking back on these books so fondly. Congrats on the purchase. I hope it arrives in the condition you desire, and brings a happy smile to your face. Like this fella.

I hope it arrives in the condition you desire, and brings a happy smile to your face. Like this fella. Yes, I remember borrowing my buddy's Crow TPB in junior high. I always wanted to get some of the individual comics, but they weren't exactly the easiest things to find back then, so this is another start (along with my Walking Dead and TMNT runs). I put a an offer in on ebay, not expecting the seller to take it, but they did. It's graded by PGX, which I'll eventually take out and have slabbed by CGC. I want to read this one, anyway, so buying a PGX copy doesn't concern me as much. I'll just have to be really careful with it.

You hit my major concern on the head. I've heard a lot of horror stories about PGX, but I figured I'd run a greater (I think) risk of buying it raw. I just got back into the hobby, so I hope I don't learn my first lesson this early on. When I remove it, I plan on recording the whole process of me putting it into a box, reading it, and sending it to CGC. If it comes back with any problems, you had better believe someone will be getting some nasty emails and calls, though I doubt PGX would help me at all. On a side note, I'm amazed how nice and helpful people are on these boards. I've learned more reading old posts in the past few weeks than all the years I collected growing up. Hey, with any black cover book (Caliber Presents 1, Crow 1-4, Albedo 2, Primer 2) you are going to hear this concern, and rightly so. But if you take a flashlight and run it around the edges all the way around, it will be your first indicator if marker was used to touch up any white spots. Now there are only 2 PGX 9.4s of this book last time I checked, and one of them was mine that was previously signed which I sold late last year. The book was gorgeous, and appeared to have no touchup. So be cautious, but don't assume immediately your book has been touched up by black marker. thebends1996-migration
I have a question for the Crow gurus. I want to complete the original 1-4 run in first print. Is the print number inside the comic itself? Thanks
