Where did you acquire such (worship)a gem?

I bought it in an original owner collection last Thursday. I couldn't sleep all weekend waiting until Monday to hear what CGC had to say about the book!

Adam, you should start a thread about just these gems! Really! Give the OO collection a name and post some scans.

That's a fun pickup on the Cap 27 tonight, Ferdelance. Always seems to me this should be designated a "classic" cover.

I just checked my CGC copy, It is a classic cover.

Excellent! I'm happy to hear that (even though I sadly don't own a copy). I was just going by my Overstreet guide, which for some reason doesn't list it as such.

Lovely copy Vern. I see your scanner acts the same way mine does with the new inner wells that are being used. I can scan an older slabbed book with no problem, gut the new ones seem to have waves in them that catch the light in such a way as to creat that rainbow effect. Very odd. You can see the waves with the book in hand.

Anyone else notice this? Or have this problem?
