Stolen books @ Motor city.....

Just received this in an email from Harley , as a few of us did , and thought it needed to be posted --

 

 

The following books were stolen during the breakdown at the motor city comic show .

this happens all time. :preach: i seriously don't know why(dealers) they just don't hire security for $100 a day to watch out for this!?! (shrug) but to harley's defense, it'll be hard for the thief to unload these books now. :wishluck:

This is what I do not understand, your asking for trouble and if your not responsible enough to protect your books at a show, then I dunno.

I do see dealers all the time that really don't monitor their books well at all, and they are just asking for trouble or basically are too trusting.

 

I shake my head alot of conventions.

 

Some dealers should where a t-shirt that say, "He Free Stealing this way." ???

 

 

This comment is not directed at any particular dealer in general or Harley as he one I would NOT put in that category above.

Yep, I was at the Supercon this past weekend and a couple times I literally had books in hand and had to yell or walk up to the dealer to get his attention to give him money. If I didn't have a conscience I could have just walked away with free stuff... :o
