A cover art comparison on the Kid Colt Outlaw title has several artists getting cover duties! The first here is Joe Maneely, the second (issue 82) is credited to Carl Burgos (sorry about the glare), the third cover is by John Severin, the fourth is Jack Kirby, the fifth is Don Heck and the sixth being Richard Ayers. Quite a feat, Jack Kirby drew the covers for issues #87 - #112 uninterrupted!

I knew it was supposed to be there, Francine, but I was still excited to see it. :cloud9:

Cool cover isn't it. I love the greyed out but fabulously detailed coach, and the colour speech bubble edging. He was on a roll on these books, wasn't he :)

Quality work, deffo. This is the period where I'm sure old Jack was drawing simultaneously on four boards with a pen in each hand, his shoes & socks off, so he can draw with his feet and a really long straw going to a ten gallon bucket of coffee. So much comic book goodness.

Still can't take my eyes off the price point, though. Something about that 9d makes me want it on a t-shirt. :whee:

Sorry, the color is a bit off register on the #60.

I love the off register blue. Never apologise for a printing error Frisco
