Grading check ...

I'm about to sell comics on eBay for my first time, and wanted to do due diligence on my grading to avoid a sour eBay selling experience. I realize these aren't

high-grade books or CGC worthy, but want to get things right ...

Actually, they do are better for larger size files!

That's the way I see it, but without seeing the back covers and interiors these are just guestimate grades.

Thanks for the responses, much appreciated. All a bit better or right on with what I was going to list them. I will include the large scans, of course, but it's heartening to know I don't over-grade my own books.

I would seriously consider Wonder Breading the DD 78... it might go up a half grade or more in most people's eyes with a good cleaning.

I have an ideal Wonder Bread candidate golden age Zen Grey book that I will post after the fact because I believe it could be a VF candidate and may be worthy of slabbing. I will try the DD 78 book ... the bread doesn't remove the tanning on the cover though, right?

Done properly, the Wonder Bread method won't remove anything but dirt. It won't remove gloss, and it certainly won't remove tanning (are you sure you don't mean foxing?)...

very well what I meant. Hope to have a before and after scan for printer's ink/dirt. we'll see. Going to check it out, though.

Does anyone out there know the proper procedure for "wonder breading" your comics? What exactly does it do, and does it harm the comic at all or will it interfere with CGC grading in the future?
