Thought I would ask what runs the board members are working on at the present.

 

I 'am working on Amazing Spider-Man AF #15 and #1-30 I am 17 books away

here are the Book I have already

AF #15 CGC 6.5

ASM #1 CGC 5.0

ASM #4 CGC 6.0

ASM #6 CGC 6.5

ASM #8 CGC 5.0 want to up grade to at least a 6

ASM #9 CGC 6.0

ASM #14 CGC 7.5

ASM #17 CGC 6.0

ASM #19 CGC 6.0

ASM #20 CGC 6.0

ASM #23 CGC 7.5

ASM #25 CGC 6.5

ASM #26 CGC 6.5

ASM #28 CGC 6.5

After I finish that Run I will work on #31-#50 CGC 7.0 +

Stay away from the HG copies (they're all mine!)...

 

No seriously, I am seven away from having an ASM total complete

(with AF 15 – ASM 53 all being CGC'ed) run.

 

It's been a long road (about 25 years) give or take (off and on)

but I have made more of a dent in this run since I joined here.

All-Star Western 2nd series 1-11 (need #2 and #4)

Weird Western Tales 12-38 (need 31,32,33,35,36, and 38)

 

Mike Grell run of Green Lantern, Green Arrow, and anything else I dont have of Mike Grells work.

I just collect random books--which ever cover/price catches my fancy.

I do have Untold Tales Of Spider-Man 1-25 plus annuals 1 and 2 as my only completed run.

 

oops cant forget Family Affair 1-4

I am working on two runs. I run of every Neal Adams cover and all the Peanuts covers. I have the Tip Top run from 210 - 225 (minus 2 issues) and many of the Peanuts and a pedigree Four Color 878 as well.

 

I don't think I will ever finish.

I haven't thought of a run collection strategy. All in all I'm working on an ASM run. I think I might start doing 400 - 500 and then throw in any random book above that that I need. I also need Web Of and Spectacular Vol1.

The answer for me is probably "too many".

 

The main run I've been working on has been, like a few others here already, an Amazing Spider-Man run. I'm 14 issues away -- unfortunately the #1 and the AF #15 are two of those. :(

 

I'd probably be closer if I hadn't gotten sidetracked on other runs. My Captain America run (100-454) is down to 14 issues as well -- thankfully, I have the early issues (100-112) already and I should have this finished by year's end.

 

My Iron Man run (1-332) is down to 33 issues. My Tales of Suspense run (looking to go from 58-99) is down to 11 issues. My Batman run (aiming for 232-present) is missing 20 issues. My Brave & The Bold run (50-200) is down to 18 issues.

 

I've got a bunch of other runs going as well, many that are pretty far along -- if it's SA Marvel or DC, I've been trying to put it together, and if it's modern Marvel/DC, there's a good chance I've actually got it -- but I've resigned myself to not finishing them. The ones above are the ones I've decided to focus on, and hopefully, actually finish.

I'm "working on" dozens of runs, mostly SA, but the only one I have completed is Showcase 30-33/Aquaman 1-56.

 

I'm getting close (7 issues) from completing the Adam Strange run by Infantino in Mysery in Space.

 

I only need 15 issues to complete FF 1-200+, but I need most of the 1-10 run, so that's not as close to completion as it sounds. :(
