you all know I am NOT a pq hound (not that there is anything wrong with it :baiting: ) but I was certain the book would get ow/w and thought maybe even an outside shot at WHITE!

book is still in route from sdcc...won't arrive till later this week... sent it walk through last monday, got graded tuesday, shipped wednesday, made it to my city thursday, had it fedexed to me friday for sdcc...amazing the world we live in!

He's buying them up..he offered me $1000 for my 3.0,since it was competing with his $1400 3.0 and i had mine at $1350 on Ebay...i told him no,and sold it here.

I posted that on 09/05/09 08:15 PM - that's almost 11 months ago. (shrug)

 

which I then followed up by saying:

 

"now that's the bar for a 5.5 that all other valuations will be based on...unfortunate for those of us still looking for a copy or two...though I'm sure this final price will seem cheap 6 months from now..."

I sold a cgc 6.5 (not as nice as the one I currently have) for like $6K a year ago... I have a nicer one today I want 7K for...so, seems like 3800 to 5K (remember, that is just asking) is "reasonable" (thumbs u

I know this 5.5 was bought by spiderturtle on Ebay for $3803 and then he re-sold it for $3995. If this is the same copy, it is 5.5 with off-white. Better PQ than my 5.5 though.

I have been in it a few times, but alas, not for very long...I personally like 5.0 as my 'sweet" spot...higher than that are good for selling lol
