Famous Funnies 210....sold to a fellow boardie but it incurred some damage before it could be shipped. Opinions on it's "new" condition would be appreciated. GOD BLESS...

Beautiful book!

Scans are just a touch small. Are there small spots of rust around the staples? My guess is around 7.5/8.0, depending.

 

It's hard to see the newer damage you're referring to. Unless it's really noticeable in hand, I'd think it will have a minimal effect on the grade.

Actually, I didn't do it...this time. It's my buddy's book and he left it in his back seat and forgot about it after some errands. The next morning he accidentally set a few bundles of newspapers on it...ouch. GOD BLESS...

And Murphy's Law dictates that when it does happen, it will be to a high grade book and not a beater (been there :( )

JimJum, thanks for not taking me so seriously. We have all been there. My last genius move was being lazy with the tape on a raw bag and snagging the cover of a mid-grade Adams Action Comics. Left a terribly ugly tear when I tried to remove it. Shame on me. (tsk)
