Dragon-Con Sept 4-7 2009

Anyone planning on going to Dragon-Con. Although its a big Sci-fi convention, it does have a comic book following.

 

I know G. Perez will be there. so will bum bum bum! George Romero My personal hero on so many levels.

Me and some friends thought about heading over that way. Then, we started looking for hotel rooms. Then, we figured out why there was none available (and not just because of Dragon-Con). Alabama plays Virginia Tech in Atlanta that Saturday.

Why the do they schedule this thing on a holiday weekend. It is great for geeks who travel but stinks for family men that have to go to the lake one last time.

Looks like a friend and I will attend Friday... possibly Saturday as well.

 

I didn't see any threads about any type of Forum Dinner's like there were in Chicago. Are there any official (or un-official) board member gatherings during this con?
