I wonder how long before 'outside' WWII collectors (medals, flags, posters, war gear, letters, photographs) start recognizing these comics from the era are first rate examples of American spirit, attitude, and propaganda of the time and enter our market?

 

Let's hope never!

This Dec. '41 HIT Comics newsstand date would've pre-dated Pearl Harbor, but it seems clear in retrospect that the publisher picked up on the prevalent political tensions, allowing Reed Crandall freedom to run with a cover depicting Japanese saboteurs...
