Anyone here going to pick up HAUNT#1 ?

It was definitely better than #1 & 2. But it still feels semi-hollow. I'm going to #5 and making my decision then.

I've heard a lot of people say that #3 has been the book that has made them keep this title... I've only read 1&2 still so far and am not very impressed. I've preordered through 5 and will get 6, but number 3 will determine if I stick around for more than that.

 

although #3 is going to have to be really really really good for me to stick with it.

issue 3 is certainly better than issues 1 and 2, I think I will keep it up till issue 5 and see how I feel.

I nearly picked up #2 and #3 today at the LCS, it was the only thing they had that interested me.

 

I don't have #1 so didn't bother.

Thought the whole "using your powers kills you" think was way to derivative of Spawn. Don't know if I just feel that way because of McFarlane's involvement, but that's the way it came off

I haven't picked it up yet. The character to me looks like a twisted combination of Venom/Spider-Man/Carnage...like Carnage's color scheme but with Venom's colors.

 

I was hoping to save myself some cash before speculating and find out if there were enough people that thought it was good before I got into it.

nope, i read it too. I didn't think it was too bad, still not anything great though.

I just read #3 last night; haven't gotten four yet...

 

but I dropped the title from my DCBS pre-orders after the first arc... very bored with it, and I'll toss the first arc in a sales thread at some point.
