The cover repeats remind me of Kanigher's dictum that the audience was different every seven (?) or so years so he had no problem repeating plots and such in the DC war books. Archie's Joke Book #91 from August, 1965 (the oldest comic in my collection): Life With Archie #165 from January 1976: The dots aren't that obvious in reality, but I couldn't figure out how to scan it without the dots being really obvious. I like how US #1 covers were used on random UK issues such as this Jughead #10 from 1953. On the upper left, you can see where the No. 1 was colored over: I like the ad on the back cover also. Archie as Captain Pureheart #6 Life With Archie #44 The Adventures of Little Archie #16 The Adventures of Pipsqueak #35 All of those were scanned in at 50% original size with a resolution of 200dpi. On an unrelated note (sort of)... Does anyone have any suggestions on how to prevent the dots from standing out so much? I know theres a least one more I didn't match up and theres probably others. I know theres at least a couple of completely redrawn stories from the same time periods, I'll have to hunt down one of those soon, but I got a couple other things planned for next....
