This has been my costume since 2005.

I go for the low maintenance costume - wrap myself in 25 rolls of toilet paper, rub some charcoal around me and I'm a Mummy.

at the risk of being ridiculed, I throw caution to the wind....every year is a big event for us: kids pick what we wear. This was last year.

This year he's being Scarecrow from Batman, and I'm being a Halloween Hon.

There will be a lot of costumes at the Chiller Theatre show in Parsippany NJ next weekend Oct 30,31, Nov 1. Always a fun show. Especially being on halloween weekend.

Our Third Annual Costume Party is on October 30th on our street in our sub.

If anyone here is in the Durham area, you should drop by for a couple of cold ones.

Wife and I were not planning on it but we got a last minute invite to a party we haven't attended before so we were scrounging for outfits. Turns out we still had our costumes from a few years ago (she was Dora the Explorer, I went as the Karate Kid). So we're going to do that again. Well, I was going to be Karate Kid until somebody on the boards came up with the nifty and CHEAP idea to be the balloon boy, so i'm going with that this year.

 

Of course my old reliable costume is John Constantine. At least with that one I can smoke all night and tell the wife it's part of the costume and must be done.
