OT-Must see Horror Movies

Some of my favorites:

Session Nine - One of the great ones out there I don't think a lot of folks have seen.

28 Days Later

Evil Dead

Dawn of the Dead (remake)

The Howling - I was probably scared shatless for a month after seeing that at a young age.

Fright Night was awesome.....I still have that one on VHS somewhere.

Lets go old school for a couple more....

Carnival of Souls (1962)

Vampyr (1932)

I never saw Vampyr but Carnival was cool. What about Freaks?

Have a copy of Freaks somewhere too.....you need to check out Vampyr.....I saw it back in the 80's....and have seen it a coouple of times since. I need to own a copy.

Seriously,

THE DESCENT

Dan

You are right.....that film is scary as hell. I loved it. Have you seen both endings?

The Descent was scary especially if you're claustrophobic and I prefer the original ending.

Rogue

Midnight Meat Train

Descent

Resurrection

Scarecrows

Session 9

Ravenous

Inside

Mirrors

Happy Hell Night

Thirteen Ghosts (remake)

The Hills Run Red

Dagon

Night of the Demons

They should call it "Spelunk into Hell---Back to the Cave 2"

Sometimes I wish the sequels would stay put. Every great film doesn't need to have a sequel.

Overall not really a scary movie - BUT - had such a disturbing scene that it still freaks me out today.

Movie - Toxic Avenger

Scene - the little kid who gets run over riding his bike, and then they back up over his head as the now paralyzed kid is trying to drag himself off the street. Disturbing.
